1 1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
4 ripe bananas
1/2 t. salt
2 t. baking soda
31/2 cups flour
Cream shortening, sugar, eggs, and bananas. Add the dry ingredients. Spoon onto greased cookie sheet and cook at 375 for 10 mins.
Frosting
6 T. brown sugar
4 T. butter (room temp.)
4 T. milk
Enough powdered sugar to make the right consistency. Spread on the cookies.
Keep the cookies refrigerated.

Have you had a hard time getting bananas recently? The last 3 times I have gone to Costco they haven't had them-strange! I am going today so hopefully they will have some.
